About Us

Meet The Team:
Doug Lifford Donna Lifford
Mortgage Broker / Owner Fullfilment Specialist
Experience counts!  I have been in the mortgage and finance industry for over 32 years, and a self-employed and licensed Mortgage Broker for the past 16 years.  Prior to becoming a independent broker and owner of my own business, I spent 15 years in the corporate world where I worked with an incredible staff where we managed a large broker centre, collections team, internal audit for a large branch network, and oversaw the small business lending portfolio.

I have been a resident of Mission for 34 years where my wife and I are raising our three children.  Following in my parents footsteps, I have been an active volunteer and strong supporter of the Mission community.  After many years of service to the community, I have pulled back somewhat in my volunteering in order to focus on family - as my children are only young once.

What you may not know: I learned to make dentures a few years ago in order to travel and work with a local dental team.  We traveled twice to northern Thailand to provide dental services to rural villagers.  I was also fortunate to travel to Africa a few years ago to work in an orphange with children who are affected by the HIV virus.

I am also a car-guy - owning a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback for the past 22 years that I am presently performing a frame-up restoration in my spare time. Car folks - click here for a pic
Donna spent 18 years with one of the largest credit unions in BC as a retail lender where she was consistently in the top 3 lending officers by volume.  Prior to joining the credit union, Donna worked in banking in her hometown of Terrace BC.

After taking time off to raise our three children, Donna wanted to get back into the work force and back to the industry that she has a passion for.  It was an obvious choice to leverage her experience in banking and her top-notch professionalism and desire for helping people into growing our business and reputation.

Donna was the Chairperson of the Mission Hospice Gala for 2011 and 2012 that took place at the Best Western Hotel.  Both events were a huge sucess and continue to happen annually.   If you would like to donate or help at the Hospice gala, please give Donna a call or visit the Mission Hospice online at  www.missionhospice.bc.ca.

What you may not know:  Donna was a licensed part-time fitness instructor teaching classes in the morning before work and in the evenings.

Donna has also travelled to Thailand and Africa on various humanitarian missions.
